Before I gave in, I made sure to maintain eye contact with her for a while longer.

"That's okay, Katty. What are you looking for?" I heaved a sigh and plopped down on the ground in the middle of the forest, positioning myself so that my back was against the nearest tree.

"I want to know what you want with my family. Tell me." She did so in a commanding manner, crossing her arms over her chest and directing her gaze downward toward me as she spoke.

"What family?" I questioned myself as I picked up a handful of leaves from the ground and began to carefully rip them to pieces.

"What do you mean?" She inquired, bewildered.

"What kind is a family? Since your Bloodtears transformed into the monsters that you are, you have no longer functioned as a family unit. Always and for all time, my bottom. The only promise you made with that was to bring pain not only to each other but to everyone else in your immediate environment as well. Bloody tears! I cannot sta
