Smith was here for a short time before he showed up.

Once more, he puffed out his chest and leaped to his feet, assuming a menacing attitude with his fangs hanging out in a snarl.

"That little whore. I'll put an end to her and all of her descendants." It sounded like a roar.

Aw, man, that's me right there!

I'm not quite prepared to pass away just yet.

When I turned to look at Lorcan, he was giving me the stink eye and appeared to be telling me to pull myself together. In response to it, I clapped my hands behind my back and puffed out my chest.

Smith came to a complete standstill the moment his gaze finally settled on Lorcan. The surprise was plain to see in his eyes.

"Smithlus, I see that you have grown up quite well," Lorcan observed in a Kristoffer-of-fact manner. When I was about to start by introducing myself, I suddenly recalled what Pearl had said to me earlier. Allow Lorcan to take the reins of the discourse.

Smith ret
