As she wrenched herself free from my hold, she let out a piercing scream of agony. When I looked over at Russell, he appeared to be getting ready to make some sort of intervention. I gave Paxton a nod and asked him to prevent his sibling from approaching. He gave a replying nod. In order for Russell to be able to learn, Trinity needs him to be less protective of her.
Trinity exclaimed, "What was that for?" as her newly wounded skin immediately healed.
"I said I wasn't holding back; well, I am. If I wanted you dead, you would have been a long time ago. Keep your focus. Think! Observe! It's the only minor advantage you may have in your current state." I stated this as I approached her in closer proximity.
"You're young, inexperienced, and a bit of a pacifist. You need to toughen up, little girl!" I yelled in her direction. I froze as I yelled those words because I had just caught myself. I sounded exactly the same as him—just like Lorcan.
