Chapter 47
I suddenly turned to the man who had joined Brent's conversation. “Jericho,” I said to him, and in order not to ignore what he did to save me from Brent, I held his arm. “Go away Brent,” I told my ex-husband. The man would have been stubborn but I turned my back on him and pulled Jericho into the terminal.
“Is that Brent?” He asked and I nodded.
“Unfortunately,” I answered.
“I'm sorry,” he said.
“What for? I should be the one to apologize, eh.”
“With the loss of Karla and Ate Marian,” Jericho said sadly.
I forced myself to smile even though my heart was pierced by a needle because my son's name was mentioned again. “Let's talk about Karla later,” my voice screamed a bit when I spoke and Jericho immediately nodded. “Let's go and maybe the bus will leave us behind,” I told him.
