Chapter 11

With her new phone, she immediately texted Sanver that she missed him. He replied that he missed her too and that they should meet. It was Sunday and her aunt expected her to be home the whole day to do some laundry but she had to meet him so she lied that there was a group project and her attendance was needed.

A few meters from the Ecotech center, she saw his car. It was parked right in front of the tennis court and she walked faster to reach him immediately. “Hello,” she greeted the driver who rolled down the window on his side to wait for her.

“Hi, Kate. Long time no see, where have you been?” Sanver wondered why she just vanished and didn’t reply to his messages in Friendster anymore. It frustrated him that there was no way he could contact her aside from Friendster but last night, he got a text message from her, and they exchanged messages until dawn. “I miss you,” he gave her a hug and a kiss as soon as she was inside the car.

“Same here,” she replied.
