Catherine followed Bella’s suggestion and went out to the gate to check if he was there. While walking, her heart thumped like crazy and if she didn’t know better, she would start to worry about experiencing the palpitation.

She almost stopped breathing to see him standing at the gate. “Jo!” Catherine ran towards Jonas and welcomed him with an embrace. “Why did you come back so soon?” her voice was lively as she asked him a question, she couldn’t stop herself from kissing him.

Catherine nodded and she felt bad for making him worried. “Honestly, I’m happy to see you now, but I’m worried that your parents wouldn’t like it that you can’t attend the reunion.”
