Chapter 6
For a week I just endured Jacob's presence because there was nothing I could do. Even though teaching him basic office tasks is not part of my duties and responsibilities, he is still my boss so I am still obligated to help him.
When my alarm clock went off, I turned it off again and adjusted the thermostat of the air conditioner unit, and then went back to sleep.
It's Monday but I don't have school anymore. When the alarm clock rang again at six in the morning, I jumped out of bed because I guess my eyes had gotten used to waking up early. Earlier, no matter how hard I tried, I still couldn't fall asleep again.
