When I left the house, I did not expect to catch up with the man at the gate. Maybe if I see him for the first time in a polo shirt and a formal dress, I'm sure my heart will skip a beat.
"Why are you still here? It's noon, Jacob," I reminded him because the official time to enter the office is half past eight. In fact, this is the son of the owner.
"I'll take you," he offered.
"Where am I going? Oh no, you're too out of the way and it's already late," I refused.
"I don't need to rush. I'm just a proxy," he said and I just shook my head at his irresponsible answers. "Let's go!"
