Chapter 64

Even though we lived together in the same house, Jacob still took me to a few hotels near my workplace. And even though my belly was obvious, it didn't stop him from letting me feel his excitement, and how he filled the days when we weren't together. But, there were still times when he doubted me that I might suddenly disappear from his sight. Jacob suspected I was playing with him so I proved my intention by staring into his eyes for a few seconds before I grabbed him by the collar, and kissed him hard.

"I want you," I whispered in his ear after releasing his lips. He must have assumed that I had become grumpy in the last few years that we had not been together.
