Everything

Papa Franco, mommy Cora, and Manuel talked. Because of what happened, I felt tired. I immediately stretched out on the bed when we got home to the villa. I thought a lot. What Empress said matched what my grandmother told me. They only saw me before in the burning forest. Since I was a child, I knew that I had no parents, and I was still considered as a family by my grandparents.

The truth kept knocking in my mind that papa Franco could be my father. Mommy Cora is my mother, and Empress is my sister.

The bedroom opened a few minutes after I woke up. Manuel's eyes immediately landed on me. His devilish appearance and arrogant face never failed to make my heart run wild.

"How is Empress?" I asked hoarsely and got up. He sat beside me and kissed my temple. I closed my eyes to the warmth of his kiss.

"She's fine," he breathed deeply. "Are you okay? Are we leaving?" I was surprised. He didn't hesitate to invite me home despite what had happened.
