My lips curled up into a smile when I watched as the red truck left my pack and drove toward Alpha Benna's. Poor thing; he must by now be pacing around his office and wrecking his brain apart, wondering what kind of gift I had bought him.
I hadn't bought the gifts; he was the one who sent them to me, and I kind of decorated them. “Don't forget to tell me if you like them. If you don't, I'll make sure that they will have perfect decorations next time.“ I recorded a message and sent it to him.
“Have any of you heard of Maria yet?“ I turned to ask my men. I have looked everywhere and searched every hideout outside the mansion, but she was nowhere to be seen.
“Not yet, but the good thing is that she isn't kidnapped. She is somewhere hiding inside the house, and we are trying our best to locate her.“ The head guard responded. Thank goodness they had the same thoughts as me.
