Rose’s POV

I stared into Alpha Kanen’s amber eyes and I was confused. They are so beautiful yet dangerous. One may compare them to that of the devil’s own and blazing fire burning like hell.

I prayed. “Moon Goddess, please save me from this devil. I had suffered too much to die in this way.”

Just as I finished praying, there was a knock on the door. Maybe the Moon Goddess heard my prayer after all. She didn’t want me to die ultimately. My babies were too innocent to experience such cruelty from their father.

But instead of answering the door, he stopped walking close to me and began to stare at me. It felt like he was seeing through my soul.

Finally, he spoke. “Why are you being so over dramatic? Why are you running away from me? Is it possible for me to hurt you?”

I shook my head, “Please, my king stop staring at me like that. It scares me. Meanwhile, I’m not being dramatic, it’s just your actions that are unpredictable and also your look.
