Kanen’s claim to Rose had stunned both me and the ghost, but it did nothing to settle the issue.

The argument was far from over, and it was about to get even more worse as no one was ready to back down.

“You think claiming her as your mate gives you any authority here, Alpha?” I said, my voice low but dangerous. “Rose is more than just a mate. She has power, power that you can’t possibly need in the future.” I advised him.
