Raph’s POV

I could sense the tension in Alpha Kanen’s posture as he silently processed everything we had just seen in those strange reflections.

My mind was still racing with the images of Jerkin, Malcolm, and Rose—everything twisted and tangled in a dark web of betrayal and dark magic.

But right now, we had a more immediate problem which is getting out of this place.

“I think we passed this tree before,” I muttered, my voice breaking the uneasy silence between us.

Kanen turned to me sharply, his brow furrowed. “How do you know?” he asked sharply.

“I marked it earlier…just to be sure.” I told him and I could see the disappointment on his face.
