Alpha Kanen’s POV

My chest ached as I searched for Rose, but she was nowhere in sight.

Only Raph stood by my side, both of us confused and unsettled.

“This place…” I muttered under my breath, glancing around.

It wasn’t like anywhere I’d ever been before.

Tall, ancient trees surrounded us, their dark branches twisting in unnatural ways.

The silence was heavy, broken only by the occasional noise of leaves.

Raph, who had been scanning the surroundings with a worried look, turned to me. “Alpha…What is this place?” he asked me calmly.

I paused, trying to remember. There was something familiar about these woods, something I had heard in the old stories from the elders when I was younger. Then, it hit me.

“I think I know where we are,” I said, my voice low but sure. “This is the Woods of Knowledge.” I told him and the name of the place sounded weird to him.
