I woke up slowly, my head pounding, everything around me spinning.

The coldness beneath me was the first thing I noticed.

I blinked, trying to make sense of where I was. The ground beneath me was stone, rough against my skin.

As my vision cleared, the truth hit me—I was in a cell.

I sat up, feeling the weight of chains around my wrists and ankles.

My body felt heavy, weaker than usual. Confusion flowed in my mind, and I tried to reach for my powers, instinctively calling on the strength that had always been there. But nothing happened.
