Rose’s POV

The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the windows, casting a golden glow across the small room.

I blinked my eyes open slowly, feeling the weight of sleep still clinging to me.

But it was morning already, and there was no time to waste.

Today was the day Joe and I would finally head back to the Blood Moon Pack.

I sat up in bed and stretched, feeling the ache in my muscles from the events of the past few days.

It had been a long and tiring journey, but now that we had helped free the village, it felt like a new chapter was beginning.

I just hoped the journey back would be less eventful than the one that brought us here.

As I stepped out of my room, I found Joe already awake, sitting by the door with a small bag packed and ready.

“You’re up early,” I remarked with a smile, rubbing the last bits of sleep from my eyes.

Joe shrugged, glancing out of the window. “Figured we should get an early start.
