Chapter 77

Alpha Kanen’s POV

Leaving the physician’s quarters, I move steadily to check on Rose and the unborn children. She was sitting in the room, the two guards on duty facing her.

Once I entered the room, they left and joined the other guards at the door. There was going to be maximum security until this was over.

“How are you feeling?” I ask her, and she looks at me, shock registered on her face. I remember the last time she saw me, I had bloody cuts and slashes throughout my body.

“I’m fine…the healer…you’re okay now!” she said excitedly, and then she danced with the excitement on her face. She is obviously not happy about something, and I am aware that it must be me. She wasn’t even happy about a lot of things.

“I’m sorry, Rose. Everything was happening really fast, and I didn’t even have time to start talking about anything,” I say. “Most of the stories they are carrying about are false. I didn’t have anything to do with my parents or bro
