Alpha Kanen’s POV

“Is everything alright, Alpha?” he asked me, wondering what I was thinking. I had gotten lost in thought, and he was saying something. All his plans included hurting Zion, and I couldn’t stay back and watch it continue.

I had to tell him the truth and watch what would happen. We had to make better plans, and for us to do that, we had to be on the same page.

“Malone, Zion is not our enemy,” I said to him calmly.

He doesn’t react, just sits down wondering what I’m talking about, his expression yearning for me to say more to explain what I am talking about.
