Chapter 92

Rose’s POV

Today was already as bad as it could get. I had gone to the meeting, as Alpha Kanen had said I could attend it. The meeting had barely begun when everything went ahoy.

I was in the midst of everything, Alpha Kanen fighting and still trying to protect me. I was tensed, and my heart was beating fast. When it was all over, I was teary as the guard rushed me to my room.

A while later, Katherine comes in, accompanied by two extra guards. This wasn’t going to be funny, I said. I was feeling pain from being tossed around, and the pack’s guards, who had fought alone, were very wounded.

The pain and frustration made me wonder who had organized the meeting in the first place. The last one had been disastrous, but this one was even worse. There were wolves everywhere, fighting and slashing at each other.

Alpha Kanen didn’t have so many injuries, but Zion did. And I was sure Jacklin and Tusa saw knew he had discovered their plan.
