Rose’s POV

I woke up thinking about how my day was going to go. I didn’t feel the need to socialize, but I felt like staying at home throughout the day without going anywhere.

“My queen,” Alpha Kanen called, pulling me back down on the bed.

I wiped away the naughty smile on his face with a kiss, and he held me tightly.

“Ready for breakfast?” he asked.

“Can I have it here?” I responded to his question with another.

“No, why? You don’t want to have it with Katherine? I even arranged for Joe to join you. I knew you would have a lot to catch up on,” he said, trying to entice me.

“I don’t want to,” I murmured.

“It is not an option Rose. Didn’t you complain once that you were tired of staying in?” he asked me, a sarcastic look on his face.

“That was back then!” I protested, whining. I didn’t want to meet Katherine or Joe or anyone, just not this morning.
