Rose’s POV

Finding solace in Zion’s presence, I felt grateful for his strength beside me. even though I wanted Alpha to be here. But he’s not strong enough to be here with me.

The doctor entered, concern etched on her face. She wore a small smile but delivered a message that sent my heart racing.

“Panicking won’t help you. It might be dangerous for the babies, so I’ll have to put you to sleep until we’re done containing the bleeding. It’s good for both of us,” she said gently.

Instead of calming down, panic surged within me. Before I could say anything, a sharp pain hit my neck, it was a sleeping injection and the world faded away as I dozed off.

The hospital lights flickered as I slowly opened my eyes. Confusion hung for a moment, and then the realization hit—I was still in a hospital bed. Panic set in until I saw the doctor standing nearby with a white paper in her hand.

“Doctor, what is it?” I asked, my voice shaky and filled with worry.
