Chapter 106

King Derek's POV

“I…I.” She stuttered as her breath was shaky, pointing towards the room. I turned to look at the back, turning back to look at her, exhaling heavily.

“You what?” I asked curiously as I looked puzzled. Lucas walked slowly towards the door, and the maid bowed as he approached. She was trembling obviously, as her hands were shaky when she pointed into the room again. 

“The baby.” She managed to say as she pointed again. I turned to look in the direction of his crib. He seemed to be sleeping peacefully. 

“What happened to him?” Lucas asked curiously as he looked at the maid with a straight face, making me turn towards her. I walked towards the baby to check on him as I did not understand what the maid was saying there. He was still sleeping as I tapped him gently. I heaved a sigh as I tilted my head to look towards the door. 

“She has not fed him tonight,” Lucas said aloud, and I chuckled dryly. She walked into the room swift
