Alpha Derek's POV

"Mate!" I whispered as I stared into her beautiful hazel eyes. I scanned her well structured face, sharp jaws, pale skin and bursted lips. She looked very messy but she still managed to look pretty. My gaze went further down and I could see her wrap her arms around her half naked body.

I clenched my fist tightly. It was all I could do to keep myself from bringing this whole building down.

I removed my jacket and covered her small body. She glanced up at me in surprise and I could see how grateful and confused she was.

Her eyes held sorrow, deep sorrow that clawed at my heart. That made me want to kill whoever had made her this way.

My beast grumbled in fury but I tried all I could to keep my anger at bay.

"She's my mate" I announced and Ethan frowned deeply.

"Pardon me?"

"Sorry for the misunderstanding but she's my mate, Alpha Derek" Ethan tried to clarify himself but I wasn't the type to back down easily.
