She instantly stared at Slate, who went beside her and sat in the huge root of the gigantic tree. After her encounter with Denver, she didn’t know why her emotions suddenly went haywire.

Seline heaved a deep sigh. She hadn’t told anyone what happened to her in the past – even Slate, who had earned her trust.
