He pulled me in by the waist and let me settle on his lap, then kissed me softly. “Princess, we’re not heading to a party; we’re off to the office…”

“I know…” I pouted, gazing at him. “I’m sorry, but this is the only nice dress I have.”

He sighed. “It’s fine. You’ll always look beautiful to me, no matter what you wear, princess…” he added. “But you’re even more stunning when you’re not wearing anything…” he whispered, making me blush.

“Such a perv…” I chuckled, playfully biting his shoulder.

He laughed heartily and kissed me again. “Shall we go?”

“Yeah…” I hopped off his lap, and he stood up too. Together, we headed out of the house.<
