Chapter 174

Freya’s POV

The school bus finally rolls into a parking space right beside the museum and I’m nervous as hell.

I’m on the brink of a breakdown with slight symptoms of hypoxia from all the heavy breathing I’ve been doing since I left school.

I’m desperately trying to remain calm and remind myself what’s at stake, but the first major crime is never really easy.

It’s either this, or be exposed as a fraud, followed by detention in another prison, however.

“Remember the plan.” The wizard speaks from his reflection staring at me from the window by my side.

Since I had agreed to this scheme, he’s stuck to my side more often than previous days where it was a rarity to see his face.

I assume he’s more invested in me now since he’s about to get what he wants from me and honestly, I hope to be rid of him finally after today.
