Freya’s POV

“If you wanted to get me alone so badly, you could have said so.” His voice is low and sultry.

The room is so small and filled with equipment that he’s forced to crouch down a bit, almost to my level so I can feel his hot breath on my neck, going down the spine of my back.

So, I’ve put us in a tempting situation.

“That’s not important right now,” I whisper, pushing down all primal urges and thoughts put into my head by my wolf.

“What part of ‘we can’t be seen together’ is so hard for you to understand?” I focus on the main reason I had dragged him here, risking being caught right now.

“How long has he known?” Silas decides to talk about something else.

“What?”

“How long has Adam known?”

“Known what?”

“That you were in the program.”

I remain silent now, deciding if to answer such a question. The fact about the program wasn’t exclusively meant to be a secret, but I still didn’t want him to know.
