Ezra POV

A run was just what I needed to cool off. My Alpha General was on my neck for taking Blake’s pack. I didn’t mean to, but he needed to be punished. The best thing for me to do to prevent him from retaliating was to put a permanent Alpha there as soon as possible. I offered Roman the job, but he didn’t want anything to do with his ex, Summer’s Mom.

We had run for hours, and most of these guys could keep going but I was ready to return to my warm mate. It had been a successful run and there was one tomorrow but I was going to spend the night with Summer. There were a thousand things I could come up with for us to do.

I sniffled and kept walking. “I’m done.”
