“I looked at her. Over the past few months, I could see how she had lost weight. She wore leather trousers and a leather jacket.
I took a step back, standing between my children and her as she walked closer to us.
“Hmmm, look at them, so tiny and fragile,” she teased, but I didn’t find her joke funny as I stared at her.
My heart was beating fast, wondering how she had found us here and how she had gotten here.
“What?…aren’t you gonna let me see my nephew and niece?” she said, and I glared at her.
“What are you doing here? How did you find us?” I asked her as I watched her suspiciously. She smirked as she looked at me.
“Hmmm, you haven’t changed, always throwing words around that pissed me off even more,” she gritted through her teeth as she looked at me.
