Chapter 127. Eros and Nadia

“Congratulations, 𝘔𝘳. and Mrs. Black, it’s a boy,” she said as she handed the baby to Damien.

He was bald and had blue eyes just like his father, but I knew he would grow to look just like him. Before I could say a word, another wave of pain hit me, and soon enough, another cry was heard.

It was a girl, and she was beautiful too. Both children were handed over to the nurses to be cleaned and cared for while I rested.

“Thank you,” I whispered weakly to Damien. It had been a hard road, and I had always had him by my side.

“No, thank you. This wouldn’t be possible without you,” he responded as he kissed my forehead. The babies were returned, and the maids still hadn’t arrived with our supplies for the children.

“They are supposed to be here,” Damien said as he pulled out his phone and called the house.
