“I know and understand your pain, but please think of your children, I beg of you,” she said as she set down chicken soup with rice for me.
I looked at the food and then at the nurse, who stood aside and hadn’t even taken a bath or a shower, let alone eaten a meal.
“Do me a favor, get that nurse back home. She was kidnapped, and I want her home,” I mumbled slowly as she smiled at me sadly.
