Calista’s POV
My heart skipped a beat, breaking into a surprised blink upon hearing those words from him. From the one and only Draven.
“Oh,” I managed to say, trying to collect my thoughts. “I…”
“I am only asking you,” he interrupted, flashing me a grin. “I am not going with anyone else, so basically, you have no choice but to choose me.”

Everything that we shared, the laughter, the easy camaraderie—it all vanished in an instant. Now, at this moment. It all felt awkward, and I didn’t even know what to say, but I tried to form a new word.
