Chapter 14
Ameira sat down on the chair, facing a wooden table. There was a monitor slightly facing her, which is why she saw various angles of the CCTV of the entire ship.
Across the table was a 50-year-old man wearing a reading glass. He also wore a different color of the 2Go staff’s uniform, indicating he was above the others. The senior supervisor who took her to that room stood by her side; behind him were also three other staff members, including the woman who guarded the charging station that morning.
Ameira didn’t want to waste any more time, so she was the one who broke the silence.
“I don’t want to waste my time, so can we get started on what I have to do here?” she initially asked. “I just want to get my phone back. Can’t I do that?”
‘I can’t take photos until I get my real phone. I also want to watch Caleb’s performance. This incident is really inconvenient for me. My god!’ Ameira can’t help but rant to her thoughts.
