Chapter 39. Goodbye

The atmosphere at night in the hospital is tranquil. Even the clock ticking could be heard along the hallway where Angela was being treated. Zayn complied with Angela's wish to meet Raymond. Slowly but surely, the wheelchair pushed by Zayn to room 45, where Raymond was being treated, finally arrived.

When he reached the door of Raymond's room, Zayn looked into the room through the small glass in front of the door. He could see Raymond's mother and father sleeping.

"Finally you're here, Angela."

Angela looked at Raymond's figure standing in front of the door. His transparent body is fading.

Zayn lowered his body, equalizing his height with Angela sitting in a wheelchair.

"Raymond's parents are in the room, if we suddenly come in and say something to them, surely they will think that you are just making up Angela."
