Chapter 42. The Breaking of a Child's Heart
Martin can't live his days like before anymore, and he has been absent from school for more than two weeks. And the plane that carried William and Susan has not yet been found. Even the channels on TV no longer show news about the plane.
Martin was just pensive in his parents' room. Tommy didn't move to Martin's house because the distance from his company and apartment was quite close. And that makes Martin even more lonely at home.
"Drrt…"
Martin took the call from Rayn.
While Martin was grieving, Rayn was always near him and strengthened him. Even though he couldn't always accompany Martin physically, the attention Rayn gave to Martin every day meant a lot to him.
"Martin?"
"What is it? Why is your tone breathless like that?" Martin looked at his cellphone screen, which showed 6 in the morning.
"Martin, I want to ask you a favor."
