Chapter 102. The Meetings

The Elders gathered in the Great Assembly room, and we discussed Bill’s threat. Before that, Elder Tom ensured all Elders knew Anna and I would have our marking ceremony in two days. So, they were mad when they heard Bill threatened to send Anna back to him. Otherwise, he would start the war.

An Elder stood and shouted, “Alpha Cameron, I think we have been too lenient with the Hurricane Dawn Pack. We didn’t punish Alpha Bill and Beta Lisa for what they did to our Luna-to-be. We had been too merciful. Yet, they push our boundary more by asking our Luna-to-be to be sent there. How dare he make such a demand!”

Other Elders also expressed the same sentiment. I raised a hand, and everyone was quiet. “So, after what happened, I can only think of a way: war. Is there anyone who opposes this?” I looked around.

All of them stared at me and shook their heads. “We must show them they can’t look down on us and never treat us like garbage.”
