Chapter 20. At Home
“What?” He asked while smiling back at me.
“Your taste in choosing the colors is amazing. I feel I have been at home already.”
Constantine circled his arms around my waist and whispered, “I’m glad you feel that way. Maybe instinctively, I know I’ll bring my mate here one day.”
He showed me to a small garden first. It had some big trees, a swing, and various lovely flowers. It surprised me as I thought I would find primarily red roses as it was common for people to grow red roses in their gardens. Instead, they were all white roses, lilies, orchids, daisies, and snowdrops. I blinked as it was indeed unexpected.
When I lifted my head to stare at him, Constantine gazed at me, too. “What?
