Chapter 58. The Drama Continues

We had lunch afterward, though I didn’t enjoy it as I kept thinking of Anna. Then I wondered how Lisa could act as she was now. Was there a potent d**g, so her mind was messed up badly? I let out a heavy sigh. I hoped I didn’t need to do bad things to her because she was my sister-in-law. 

Lisa glanced at me and grinned. “Do you like the meals? You seem deep in your thoughts.”

“All are delicious. Please give my gratitude to the ones who prepared the meals.”

Lisa smiled and nodded. “What were you thinking?” She held my hand. 

“About my new responsibility as an Alpha. It’s a huge duty.”

“Don’t worry. I’ll be there to help you in any way I can.” Lisa bent forward and kissed my cheek. 

I didn’t know what to say, as it was pretty awkward. It would be different if Anna was the one who kissed me. 

Then Lisa whispered, “After this, we will have a dance. Our Elders may want to talk with you too, as some of them told me a few hours
