Chapter 32
Camille’s POV
My head is pounding like a building collapsed on my head. It throbs like someone pierced my skull with a hot blazing knife. The migraine hurts like I have a toothache in my brain. The pain is excruciating, debilitating, and soaring.
My vision is disturbed by some horrible-smelling plastic bag. I’m strained against the zip-ties, blood running over the translucent plastic, red on white. My nose is filled with the musty scent of the sack that covered my head and in the almost blackness, my eyes strained for some sign of what is to come from the cold metal beneath my body.
I continuously shift my butt from left to right, hoping I can relieve myself of the pain of sitting on the bare ground for long. I can hear voices echoing, and loud footsteps all around. I knew I was in a danger zone. I can sense it, I can feel it all around me, it is the aura surrounding this horrible place. Surely someone was looking for me.
