Chapter 48. The Dark Side

Nyla’s POV

“Jason!” I whispered almost in tears.

“Jason!” My knees fell weak, Jason will never do that, I try to make excuses for him. What if he can? You didn’t know much about him. A part of me warned.

Shaking my head vigorously, the painful memories of our time began to flood in.

When my stomach was so buggy that my sleeping position was compromised. I had to sleep sideways or face up. That wasn’t my favorite. We were in the sitting room passing time while watching a movie with popcorn. He sat close to me with his hands wrapped around my shoulder.

It was already late at night, and we watched till I began to feel sleepy, but sleeping wasn’t exciting for me anymore due to the position I had to stay in.

“I can’t wait to give birth so I can easily sleep in any position I want. Sleeping isn’t exciting for me again,” I voiced out. He gave a small smile, taking the throw pillow and placing it on his lap.
