Chapter 53. My First Kiss

Tala’s POV

I fell to the ground like a log of wood when my legs couldn’t carry me anymore. Happiness and redemption were far from me, all I go through is a series of pains.

My heart constricted like it was about to give up on me. I could feel my resolve wavering, my eyes stinging with unshed tears. It felt like a million storms clouded my heart, making it so painful for me.

Tears roll down my cheek, again and again, I keep getting my life all messed up. Can’t I live life just like every normal person? My dreams of helping people shattered to the ground. Right from when I was growing up, I had this feeling of greatness in me, I wanted to be a philanthropist. To be able to help people, studying nursing made that possible, but then when Jason told me about his project, I decided to take it upon myself to put smiles on people’s faces.
