Chapter 72. She Has Her Plans

Alan’s POV

I stood at Mia’s office, she summoned me, and my plans failed.

“Jahon and Tala will be in the hands of the enforcer by now. She should have known better before she double-crossed me,” she whispered behind me.

I wanted to get rid of Nyla’s son, knowing he would be a threat in the future, he is likely to be Jason’s son, and Mia will be the company for him. I’m scared of that. I have been in this company struggling to make sure she sees me. I don’t want my effort to be in vain, but Mia acts smarter, she has other plans in line.

Mia will always be unpredictable, she can’t even be trusted. We planned this together, but Nyla managed to get away with her son, and yet I couldn’t lay my hands on the sample. The doctor ran off too. My plans were just a disaster.
