“Animal!” she hissed as she stumbled upon a stone. Barely breaking her fall, she rose and glared behind her at his door. On the bright side, he was going to get her out of a mess first. Then she’d deal with him mercilessly for forcing her into that. Vetta wouldn’t let him go! Never would she let him go for dragging her down to his level!
For now, Vetta forced herself to put him out of her mind. It was a long walk back to the palace.
