I wished I had more time. More time in that bed this morning with Lake soft and pliant beneath me, more time to explore every sound I could coax from his throat, more time before that cursed alarm shattered the moment and reminded us both that we existed in a world with responsibilities and children and threats that wouldn’t wait.
The memory of him—flushed and desperate, begging me to breed him—had been playing on loop in my mind all morning. The way he’d clenched around me, the slick that had made everything so easy, the screams he’d finally let loose when I’d pushed all the way inside. I’d barely gotten halfway before that alarm went off, and now I was left aching and frustrated, wondering if he’d ever let it happen again or if the moment had passed entirely.
