Chapter 55. Twin Brother

Caleb took me to the park. It was darker than usual here the few lamp posts scattered around the park weren’t helping and some were dead. A few people wandered around without a care in the world. Elvira Falls was a small town and it was supposed to be one of the safest ever. The outside world didn’t know this was a place where seemingly normal humans transformed into massive werewolves.

We looked like two people enjoying the evening air to pedestrians but Caleb had a knife to my gut.

“You look good sis,” Caleb said.

“Don’t call me that,” I grumbled.

He barked out a laugh. “One little issue and we’re not related anymore? That’s not fair.”

“Ugh, I can’t believe you found me.”

“It wasn’t easy. You’re a hard one to find but eventually, we tracked you down.”

I spied a bench against a large oak tree. My feet were aching I desperately wanted to sit down. I had on two-inch heels but it felt like I’d been walking for five hours on six-inch hee
