Chapter 63. The Resistance
I ran to the living room window and peeked out of it. A pack of massive wolves ran down the road. Oh my gosh, I’d never seen so many. They were enormous. They could kill a man with one scratch or a single bite.
I couldn’t count them there were that many. What did Malik want to do? Was he going to kill his brother? He wasn’t in the state to run a pack why was he doing this?
“Are you going to step down?” Malik asked.
“You’re drunk out of your mind you don’t even know what you’re asking!” Marcel yelled.
The wolves blocked the front door. I turned to Olga, expecting to find fear but I saw annoyance and frustration.
The pack of wolves started barking. It was so loud it vibrated the ornaments on the shelves and hammered on my ear drums. Marcel came up behind me and wrapped me in his arms.
