Chapter 81. Missing Pieces

The pack stared at me in disbelief. Uncle Gary ruled as a member of the council for years, no one expected this. Even stuck up Mr Richardson couldn’t believe it. Aunt Olga was too distraught to attend the meeting. She lost two of her brothers and for what? The pack? Now that I had the pack in my hands and in my control I knew it wasn’t all I thought it was.

Being the Alpha was hard work and it meant making a lot of unpopular decisions and sacrifices. I’d come to realize the most important thing in my life was Paris and our pup. I didn’t think I’d ever have a family. I didn’t think marrying for love was in my cards.
