Chapter 15. Rebellion and Greed

Shelled, the Eastern region.

Ace arrived in Shelled, the eastern region. The first thing that welcomed him was the mild weather. It was so different from the capital and Soule. It was good, though, and his body could get used to it since he would be here a few more days.

Up to him, he would keep himself from the notice of any noble-born or elite in the region, but the king instructed him to stay in the royal estate. He had no choice; he couldn’t go against the alpha king. After his arrival, the escort waiting for him at the gates opened up to him. They led him to his quarters, already neat and arranged for his arrival, and there was a standby maid ready to cater to his needs. He didn’t need any of that; he was fine on his own, so he told them he would only need the escort tomorrow morning when he left for the council court and dismissed the maid.
