Chapter 20. Chaos Leads

Alpha Koz had waited for a response from Robb Ainsworth, who had received their report two days ago but got nothing. It was unusual for the alpha of alphas to go a day without sending reports of his thoughts back to the palace, either in person or through a messenger.

So far, they have gotten only silence. The Royal estate wasn’t one just anyone could visit. They had to be invited as the alpha of alphas commanded respect and reverence and no one could go uninvited, but after days of waiting and hearing nothing, Alpha Koz spoke to princess Kailani of his plans to visit the Royal estate where Robb stayed and she gave her backings.

He then made plans to go out at the dawn on the morrow.

Alpha Koz, along with Sir Aira, the Princess’s personal escort, appointed by prince Edward before his departure, along with three of the King’s guards, saw princess Kailani back to the watchtower’s castle, where she preferred to stay. Then he retired home to his wife, lady Elena.
